Team Parish of Hitchin

St Faith's Church is part of the Team Parish of Hitchin. Whilst every Church in the Parish has its own identity and Team Vicar, the Churches in the Parish co-operate and support each other over many aspects of pastoral and administrative life. The parish is legally one entity so, for example, residents in the parish of Hitchin may marry in any church in the parish (see Weddings). The Parish is run by individual church councils and legally governed by a Parochial Church Council chaired by the Team Rector.

The parish is now also linked ministerially in mutual support, with the Parish of St Paul's Walden and Preston.

The District churches in the Parish also join together throughout the year for joint services and other events such as the Beating the Bounds Parish walk.
