| St Faith's Trip to Swanage 2009 |

This year, there were about 30 of us, a good mixture of adults, teenagers and youngsters (plus Toddy the dog). We met up at St Faith’s car park and set off, soon after 7am. By 8.30am we were all arriving in our cars at Fleet services and many of us enjoyed a cooked breakfast. Just after lunchtime we had all arrived and had been allocated our rooms. We then went down to Swanage sea front, the weather was kind and one person from the group was soon swimming in the sea. Many others, paddling, sun bathing or mooching around. In the evening we enjoyed a scrumptious meal, with many joining in the preparation and washing up afterwards. The meal was polished off with various yummy homemade cakes and fruit meringues.
On Sunday morning, we were served a wonderful breakfast prepared by the hostel staff. We
then went our various ways in Swanage. Some
went walking, and some of us went for a ride
on the local steam train up to
