We were fortunate to have a fine day for our Grand Garden Party Summer Fair and the stall holders dressed in summery outfits were able to set up in the church grounds where a busy time was had by all. 

Visitors had a range of entertainments to choose from  - tombolas, sideshows and the “create a flower plate competition” -  as well as an impressive range of goods to buy, from the usual cake and sewing party stalls, to jewellery, books, cards, bric a brac, toys and plants in abundance, and the more intriguing “grannies attic“, not to mention a raffle with over 40 prizes on offer. 

The ladies in the kitchen were busy serving delicious and cheap lunches and also ice creams.  

A happy day of fellowship, outreach to the community and fundraising with a total of about £1,200 for church funds.
