| Walsworth Community Noticeboard at St Faith's |

The
Walsworth Community Noticeboard project is a
collaboration between St Faith’s Church which will host and
maintain the
noticeboard and the North Herts District Councillors for the Walsworth Ward. The noticeboard is situated at the centre of Walsworth and intended for use by community groups, clubs and societies based in the area. Any group wishing to display notices should contact the Vicar of St Faith’s, Revd Charmaine Sabey-Corkindale on 01462 432179. Charmaine-Sabey Corkindale said “St Faith’s is privileged and honoured to host the Walsworth Community Noticeboard and we are delighted to be able to continue to play our part at the heart of this community. We are looking forward to being able to display information on behalf of all the groups, clubs and societies of Walsworth” The official unveiling took place before the St Valentine’s Day Service at St Faith’s Church on February 14th 2010. ![]() The unveiling was carried out by NHDC councillors Ray Shakespeare-Smith and Alan Millard who, along with Councillor Bernard Lovewell, arranged the funding of the project. The ceremony was attended by representatives of some of the groups that will use the noticeboard, including the Walsworth Festival Committee, the Friends of Walsworth Common, the Scout Group and Guides. In the picture are Revd. Charmaine Sabey-Corkindale; Ray Shakespeare-Smith; Alan Millard; Penny Mitchell, Community representative and Chair of the Walsworth Festival and Philip Turner, Methodist Minister.
