The choir comprises around twenty adults and juniors who rehearse in church on Mondays.  The choir sings a communion anthem most Sundays as well as leading the singing of hymns.

The choir plays a major role in services for festivals such as Christmas, Easter and St Faith’s Day and in joint services with other local churches.  Our repertoire runs from the sixteenth century to the present day and includes work by the great masters and by leading contemporary composers of church music.

We welcome both adults and juniors (age about seven and above) who would like to sing with us.

Regular choir practices are as follows:
  • Girls and boys 6.45pm to 8.00pm;
  • Adults 7.40pm to 8.45pm.

St Faiths is also affiliated to the Royal School of Church Music (RSCM) and many members of St Faiths regularly enjoy singing in the RSCM training choir, RSCM Voices. RSCM voices sings at services to a high musical standard in Cathedrals and major churches across the southern half of England.

For more information, please contact Michael Attwood, at St Faith’s after a Sunday service or on a Monday evening.
